Panoramic View Tour
Duration: 7 hours
Explore Corfu’s most spectacular viewpoints and scenic stops:
- Pelekas (Kaiser’s Throne) – A historic lookout point offering panoramic views of Corfu’s coastline and countryside.

Pelekas (Kaiser’s Throne)
The Kaiser's Observatory dominates the highest point of the settlement of Pelekas, it is the last and particularly elaborate work of the Kaiser, the philhellene emperor of the Germany, Wilhelm II.
Shortly before his death in 1914, he left a unique gift to the locals and visitirs of the island, his observatory, where he found peace and enjoyed the view of the island and the beauties of the olive tree of Corfu.
The Kaiser's Observatory or Kaiser's Throne attracts the interest of visitors from all over the world for its stunning views and the details that distinguish it. A heavy iron door with railings, which counts for more than 100 years of life leads to a verdant garden with olive trees and lush vegetation that ilsolates the spot and creates natural shade.
Crossing the stone uphill path, one reaches teh stone of the Kaiser. Its panaramic view will enchant you while there are many couples in love who choose to "lock" their love, carving their initials on a padlock that they place on the bars of the observatory. To reach the point where the Kaiser's Observatory is located, you pass through the traditional village of Pelekas by choosing an uphill raos that leads to the highest point in the area.
For the lovers of walks it is recommended as a route, while on the way there are also many shops, restaurants and cafes.
Monastery of Paleokastritsa
Perched above the sea, this serene monastery combines breathtaking vistas with cultural significance.
Lakones Village
On the slope of a green hill above the enchanting coves of Paleokastritsa is the small but very picturesque village of Lakones. Old stone houses of the 18th and 19th century on a narrow street and elderly women walking around in traditional costumes compose a charming traditional Corfiot setting.
Helidoni Viewpoint
Pagi is a traditional, beautiful villag located on the northern slopes of Mount Istoni, in the northwest pasrt of the island, 28km away from Corfu Town and at an altitude of 170 meters. The morphology of the ground fully agrees with the version of the name, since before the entrance of the village, at the location "Katarraktis", there are six imposing rocks of large dimensions.
